Csaba Méhes is a renowned representative of visual comedy in Hungary. Already last season he delighted us with his light, humorous piece.
This time he shows: Bringing objects to life and letting them develop their own will is one of the beautiful possibilities of mime arts to create living and in this case funny pieces with the simplest means.
About Csaba Méhes: In the fall of 1983 he co-founded Penguin Mime Ensemble. 1987 he embarked on a solo career, joining forces with several independent theater ensembles, among them with Artus Studio. In the upcoming years he has staged performances all over Europe, has toured in New Zealand, Australia, Mexico and Egypt. He is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions: he has been awarded second prize in the United Slapstick Comedy Award of Frankfurt, the honorable ”Best Male Actor” title at the Festival of Experimental Theaters in Cairo, ”Best Actor” of the 2nd Hungarian Contemporary Dance and Eurhythmics Festival in Veszprém as well as ”Best Cabaret Performer” of the 7th Thália Comedy Festival in Budapest.
